Update,
Friday, 2/4/11
Participants & Volunteers
Get ready for the
rescheduled date -- Saturday, 2/26/11! Hopefully, Mother
Nature cooperates just a little bit for
us.
Update Thursday, 1/13/11
Participants & Volunteers:
Due to the condition of the roads and fields
at the English Setter Club, the organizing committee has
decided to postpone the pheasant hunt.
No one is more disappointed than the members of the
committee but to ensure that we have a quality, safe and
enjoyable hunt is our priority. Having parking places
for the hunters, mentors and volunteers would be a nice
thing too.
The ESCA Board of Directors meets on Monday and we will
request a new date then and it will be posted.
Thank you for your interest and support -- hang in there
and I'll keep you all informed as soon as I can.
Update Monday, 1/10/11
Participants & Volunteers:
At this point we are going to see what actually happens
with the weather Tuesday and Wednesday. We need to keep the
hunters, volunteers and dogs safe. That is always our first
priority.
If the weather happens to be on the more serious side of
the prediction, we will have to reschedule the hunt. This
decision is estimated to be made on Thursday and a
communication will go out to all who are registered and/or
scheduled to volunteer.
